HB&Co. are a retail furniture store which not only stock furniture brands, but also design and craft their own unique pieces. A tired and outdated identity led to the appointment of MadeKnown to develop a brand strategy and refreshed identity to reposition and promote the bespoke furniture company.
Taking pride in producing their own uniquely designed and crafted pieces it was important to find a solution that set them apart from mainstream retailers and allowed them to showcase their own individuality and passion.
As part of the engagement, customer research, staff interviews, competitor analysis and brand audit were undertaken to gain insight into the market and how HB&Co. were perceived. Our brand strategy process uncovered many truths about the business, allowing us to define HB&Co.’s competitive proposition, brand values, brand personality and how it fuels the identity. The new strapline, ‘Designed for living. Crafted for life.’ delivers the brand strategy and ensures the brand aligns across many touchpoints.
