Riverton Brafords

A Patron’s pride in the Braford breed

Riverton Brafords is a commercial herd of Braford cattle located in the very fertile valley near the Fitzroy River in Central Queensland. The owners began the Braford Stud by buying and registering females from well-known studs, and having their better cows with known genetics classified by the Australian Braford Society. The gradual increase in registered cattle created the need for a logo and identity which would set them apart from their peers and generate interest from prospective buyers.

With a strong focus on heritage the logo was constructed using many key elements from Riverton – the cattle brand, first registered in 1957, the jockey colours of the owners favourite mare and a stylised shape reflecting the panoramic view from the homestead.
